Brimpton News: Wasing Community Evening & Litter Pick

The folks over at the Wasing estate have asked me to share a couple of updates from them, about an upcoming community evening (aka an opportunity for us to have a sneak peak around their venue!) and their upcoming annual litter pick.

We are holding a Community Evening at our wedding venue for local members of the parish to come and take a look around and learn more about Wasing (see artwork below)

Also, we will be holding our annual Wasing team litter pick on Monday 6th March focussing on the surrounding roads of Wasing. We would very much welcome locals to join us!

The format will be the same as last year and we will meet first at the Estate Office for a safety briefing at 10 am. We will then be split into teams and will be taken to the surrounding roads in the beaters trailer where we will spend 2-3 hours litter picking and will then head back to The Castle Barn terrace for tea & coffee and pizzas to warm up. The Estate will provide high-vis vests, pickers and gloves.

If you’d like to get involved in the litter pick, you can email Emma at emma@wasing.co.uk.
