Brimpton Businesses

Brimpton Businesses

The following is a selection of local businesses who operate in and around the Brimpton area. If you want to support your local independent ‘makers’ and providers, take a look through some of the below.

In addition to the below, the Brimpton Parish Council website contains a lot of useful information, too.

Art & Photography

Karen Bennett Photography

Karen is an award-winning photographer of pet and equine subjects. Karen specialises in photographing dogs, cats and horses, creating striking portraits and producing elegant, timeless hand bound books for her clients – as well as stunning wall art for your homes and office.

Tara Hamilton Glass

Beautiful crystal and glass for every occasion, whether you are celebrating, entertaining or enjoying the simple pleasures of everyday life. Their crystal and glassware includes pieces that are engraved with unique hand-drawn designs.

Produce

Little Park Flowers

Little Park Flowers is an artisan flower farm and florist, growing seasonal, country garden flowers, in the once neglected, Victorian cottage gardens of a small country estate. They grow and arrange beautiful, natural flowers for local customers, weddings and events as well as hosting flower inspired workshops throughout the year.

Born Again Bohemia

An online store offering a variety of stylish and sustainable products, from jewellery to homeware. All of Mandy’s products are made with sustainability in mind – 90% of her materials used are reclaimed meaning the impact on the planet is very low. Each creation is bespoke & completely unique.

Health & Well-being

Entire Wellbeing

Owned and run by our own Mark Bennett, who is a functionally trained Nutritional Therapist. Functional medicine looks at the body as a whole and is focussed on identifying the causes of chronic disease rather than symptomatic relief.

Services

Georgina Hill Hairdressing

Situated in the old ‘Forge Stores’, Georgina and her team of stylists can offer hair dressing and styling to all – men, women and even children. Their prices are competitive and the welcome you receive is always warm! You can book over the phone or just pop your head around the door any time they’re open.

JPS Fuels

While they aren’t based in Brimpton per-say, JPS are local enough that I believe they count! They also seem to supply a lot of the village – so much so that there is a ‘fuel club’ who arrange group deliveries, which come with a group discount. If you’re interested in joining, drop me a note.

Brimpton Village Hall

Technically an amenity, the Village Hall is both a meeting-point for the community and a venue for hire to the public. The village hall committee regularly put on events including plays, wine tasting, quizzes and the like. They also host a number of regular classes, including the very popular Spin City Pole Fitness classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Robert Bone – Professional Magician

Robert is a “professional close-up Magician, Mind-reader and Demonstrator of Extra-Sensory Curiosities”. He uses a combination of sleight of hand, memory techniques, psychological reading and hypnotic suggestion and is available to book for events!

Vega Technology

Probably not one that will be immediately relevant to most in the village, it is a local business nonetheless – Mandy Collings and her team have more than 20 years’ experience in “improving operational efficiency, compliance and risk management.” They help businesses to reduce your costs and to give you more time to focus on your own clients’ needs. So there you go!
